Dr. Yankey is the Managing Director of Dumakwae Limited a construction company based in Ghana.He holds a diploma in Banking from the University of Boulder, Colorado, USA and a BSC in Administration, marketing and finance options from the University of Ghana. Mr. Yankey is currently the Chairman of the University of Ghana Alumni Association, a Member of the University of Ghana Council, School of Health Sciences, Progeny Ventures International and Nuba Foods and Commodities Ltd. Prior to these roles, he served as Board Chairman for Global Access Savings and Loans Limited amongst many others.
Mr. Mohamed Bah is the Group Managing Director of the SUNU Group. Mr. Bah has over 25 years of work experience. He served as Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director of AXA VIE, Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire. Mr. Bah was the Actuary in charge of the control of 8 AXA subsidiaries in Africa (AXA Zone Afrique). Prior to his experience in AXA, he worked as an Actuary in Union Africaine VIE, Abidjan, Cote’D’Ivoire and was a Mathematics Teacher in Creil, Bresles, Chantilly, France. He has been Non-Executive Director at SUNU Assurances Ghana LimitedPlc since 2016. He is a Director in 18 subsidiaries of the Sunu Group in Africa. He holds MBA from HEC, Paris, Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Universitè d’Amiens in France and a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science from Universitè Laval, Canada. He studied Financial Planning and Portfolio Management at The Canadian Securities Institute.
Mr. Kwasi Twum is the founder and CEO of Multimedia Group: Ghana’s largest independent commercial Media group. He has led the fast-paced growth of the business through the establishment of six radio brands, a West Africa wide Multi Channel digital Television Service and 7 online digital media properties as market leaders. Kwasi successfully launched his first business; Ridgecrest Services right after college, displaying his entrepreneurial prowess. He holds BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is a fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative, an Aspen Institute Initiative. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. He is the past president of Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA), Executive Council member of the Ghana Employers Association (GEA) and a member of the Board of SOS Children’s Villages, Ghana. Kwasi has led Multimedia as a socially responsible entity in the local community by deploying the Group’s assets to touch many lives; Multimedia Blood Drives to support the National Blood Bank, feeding the poor and providing free medical care for the sick at Easter Soup Kitchen. The Company has also supported the brilliant but needy students through Multimedia’s Educational Trust Fund. He also devotes his personal time to mentor young people in business.
Patricia Poku Diaby, a Ghanaian national, is a successful business executive with over 25 years of trading experience. Mrs Diaby is founder and CEO of Plot Enterprise (Gh) Ltd, a modern state of the art cocoa processing company, based in Takoradi. Patricia’s current business portfolio also includes a cocoa grinding facility in Cote D’Ivoire and two other cocoa sourcing companies in Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire of which she is Founder and Chair of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Karim-Franck Dione is the Deputy Group Managing Director of the SUNU Group. He is a Business Professional with over 10 years work experience in Canada and France. He holds a B.Sc in Computer Science and Business Administration from Collége LAURENDEAU and HEC Montréal (Canada) respectively. He had served as the Project Manager & Executive Assistant to the President with Sunu Gestion (France) and previously with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (Canada), He currently serves as Director, Management Accounting & Financial Management in Sunu Participations Holding (France) and is also a board member in Sunu Assurances Vie Senegal and de SUNU Assurances IARD Sénégal since 2012. Mr. Dione is currently an Executive Director in SUNU Assurances (Nigeria) Limited and board member of many companies including SUNU Participations Holding SA, SUNU Assurances Ghana Limited, SUNU Assurances (Liberia) Limited, Managed Healthcare Services Limited amongst others.
Sidoine Viagbo has 20 years of banking experience covering Structured Trade and Commodity Finance; Project Finance; Loan Syndications and Financial Institutions; Former Ecobank Group Head in charge of Commodity Finance, concentrating on crude oil and petroleum products while overseeing various other STCF (Structured Trade and Commodity Finance) transactions across the Ecobank Network, including cocoa and cotton. Director Energy and Commodity at BNP Paribas; Political Risk Advisor at Marsh and Mc Lennan Companies; Senior Relationship Manager at Natixis; Fortis Bank; Belgolaise Bank. Currently Fund Advisor covering West Africa for Barak Fund Management, a Panafrican debt fund with $1.3 billion Assets Under Management.
Kwasi Osei boasts a distinguished career as an actuary, having attained Fellowship status within the Society of Actuaries and membership in the American Academy of Actuaries. He earned an MBA in Finance and Actuarial Science from the University of Michigan Graduate School in the USA. Osei has garnered extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent US insurance firms, including notable tenures at Trans America Assurance Company, Travelers Insurance Company (Hartford, Connecticut), and Golden State Mutual Life Insurance Company (Los Angeles). Notably, Mr Osei's professional journey encompasses multifaceted roles, having served as Director General of the Social Security & National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Executive Chairman, and Chief Actuary of TRI Star Financial Group, along with a stint as a Non-Executive Director at the State Insurance Corporation.
Mr Mathieu N’katta is a member of the Alumni for Master of Science in Actuarial and Risk Management from Institut National Polytechnique Felix Houphouet Boigny. He holds an International Certificate in Business and Corporate Strategy from HEC Paris, a Certificate of Entrepreneurship, Management and Business Administration with SCI Education USA. He recently obtained a Global Executive MBA from IFG Executive Education, a Master Degree in Economy, Management and Business Administration from University I Pantheon Paris Sorbonne, and a MBA from IAE Paris. Mr Mathieu N’katta is currently the vice President of the Ivorian network of Risk and Insurance Managers. He once occupied the position of Head of Technical Department, SUNU Assurances Cote d’Ivoire P&C, and Regional Expert Insurance Risk Manager, for JA DELMAS/ Caterpillar Dealer, in charge of 11 countries in West Africa. Mr Mathieu N’katta was the former MD/CEO SUNU Assurances Liberia. He is a Board Member of SUNU Assurances Liberia, SUNU Health Nigeria, Equity Resort Hotel and EA Capital Management.
Mr. Sosoo Gideon is the Executive Director / Chief Finance & Administration Officer of SUNU Assurances Ghana Limited. He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Insurer, Certified Chartered Economist and a Certified Information System Auditor. He holds Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from University of Cape Coast. He also holds an MSc in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) and a Post Chartered Diploma in Treasury & Financial Risk Management from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana(ICAG). Gideon has practiced with AD & Associates-Chartered Accountants and KWGH-Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining SUNU Assurances, he was Head of Audit at Unique Life Assurance now Beige Assure. Gideon has over 10 years’ experience in both Internal and External Audit arena.
