Mr Mathieu N’katta is a member of the Alumni for Master of Science in Actuarial and Risk Management from Institut National Polytechnique Felix Houphouet Boigny. He holds an International Certificate in Business and Corporate Strategy from HEC Paris, a Certificate of Entrepreneurship, Management and Business Administration with SCI Education USA. He recently obtained a Global Executive MBA from IFG Executive Education, a Master Degree in Economy, Management and Business Administration from University I Pantheon Paris Sorbonne, and a MBA from IAE Paris. Mr Mathieu N’katta is currently the vice President of the Ivorian network of Risk and Insurance Managers. He once occupied the position of Head of Technical Department, SUNU Assurances Cote d’Ivoire P&C, and Regional Expert Insurance Risk Manager, for JA DELMAS/ Caterpillar Dealer, in charge of 11 countries in West Africa. Mr Mathieu N’katta was the former MD/CEO SUNU Assurances Liberia. He is a Board Member of SUNU Assurances Liberia, SUNU Health Nigeria, Equity Resort Hotel and EA Capital Management.
Osman is a Chartered Insurer from the Chartered Institute of Insurance, (UK) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Camaguey, Cuba. He is also an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from The Institutes (American Institute Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter)-AICPCU (USA). He joins SUNU Assurances with a Chemical Industry Production/ Management experience and over 21 years of experience in the Insurance Industry after he first joined Enterprise Insurance Company in 2002 to establish and Head the Risk Management Department (Engineering Unit). He rose through the ranks to become the Ag. General Manager, Operations. He joins SUNU Assurances with a Chemical Industry Production/ Management experience and over 21 years of experience in the Insurance Industry after he first joined Enterprise Insurance Company in 2002 to establish and Head the Risk Management Department (Engineering Unit). He rose through the ranks to become the Ag. General Manager, Operations. Osman has diverse experience both local and international in various aspects of insurance such as reinsurance, underwriting and claims management and General Operations. He is also a member of the National Insurance Commission’s Motor Compensation Fund Committee.
Mr. Sosoo Gideon is the Executive Director / Chief Finance & Administration Officer of SUNU Assurances Ghana Limited. He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Insurer, Certified Chartered Economist and a Certified Information System Auditor. He holds Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from University of Cape Coast. He also holds an MSc in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) and a Post Chartered Diploma in Treasury & Financial Risk Management from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana(ICAG). Gideon has practiced with AD & Associates-Chartered Accountants and KWGH-Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining SUNU Assurances, he was Head of Audit at Unique Life Assurance now Beige Assure. Gideon has over 10 years’ experience in both Internal and External Audit arena.
Mr. Kofi Bonsu is the Head of Lean Agency Force & Special Marketing Projects. He holds a Bsc. Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi and an Advance Diploma in Insurance from the Ghana Insurance College; he is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII UK). He has been with the company since inception. He started and also managed several of the company’s branches. He has an in-depth knowledge of Underwriting, Risk assessment & Sales Management. He has attended several courses in Insurance and Risk Management. As Head of Lean Agency Force & Special Marketing Projects, he is responsible for developing new markets.
Mr. Ebenezer Abeku Onumah holds B.Ed. (Hons) and M.Phil. Specializing in communications and advertising in financial institutions from the University of Education, Winneba. He currently holds both Diploma and Advance Diploma in insurance from the Ghana Insurance College. Mr. Onumah is a member of The Chartered Institute of Insurance, UK. Prior to joining Equity Assurance, he worked with Donewell Insurance for nine (9) years where he distinguished himself in Branch Management, Business Development as well as Agency Development/Management. Mr. Onumah has attended several courses in insurance and communication spanning his 19 year career. He is currently pursuing his PhD. In Corporate Communication at the University of Cape Coast.
Elorm is a highly driven and results-oriented legal practitioner and a member of Ghana Bar Association. She was called to the Ghana Bar in the October 2012. Her legal practice begun at Puozuing & Associates where she rose from an Intern to Senior Associate in a period of 2 years. Until her appointment as the Company Secretary/Head, Legal & Compliance, she worked with uniBank (Ghana) Limited as a Legal Officer and Consolidated Bank of Ghana the Legal Business Partner responsible for Retail & Compliance. Elorm has over time built a rich experience in diverse areas of practice which includes litigation, corporate practice, real estate, commercial law, property law and employment/labour law. She also holds an LL.B and a B.A. in English and Information Studies from the University of Ghana.
Mr. Clifford Anim is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds a Professional Post Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing-(CIM-UK) and a Student member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII-UK). He has an International Executive MBA from the Paris Graduate School of Management. He also has an LLB from Wisconsin International University College. Prior to joining Equity Assurance, he worked for more than 8 years in the Technology Sector with special emphasis on Strategy formulation and using technology to gain a competitive edge. He has attended several courses in Marketing and Insurance. He is responsible for developing short and long term marketing strategies in line with the corporate vision, developing new markets, managing corporate clients, repackaging existing products and tailoring them to meet clients’ dynamic needs and all other public related issues.
Obed has rich experience in Human Resource Management and Administration within the Insurance Industry. His vast industry experience covers Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Compensation and Rewards Management, Performance Management, Talent Management, Developing and Implementing Human Resource Strategy, amongst others. Prior to his appointment as the Head of Human Resource/ Administration at SUNU Assurances Ghana Limited, he was the Country Recruitment Consultant (HR) of Swift Oil and Gas Ghana. He has worked in various capacities with the Human Resource function for SIC Life Company Limited, Graphic Communications Group Ltd etc. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He also holds a first degree in Sociology with Information Studies from the University of Ghana.
Mr. Olatunji Yusuf holds a BSc. Degree in Information Communication Technology from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Accra and a National Diploma in Computer Science from Yaba College of Technology, Nigeria. He is an Associate and Professional Certified Oracle Database Administrator with over a decade working experience in key Information Communication Technology functions and Management, Eight (8) years of which has been in the Insurance Industry and the rest as an IT consultant. He has worked both locally and internationally. Prior to joining SUNU Assurances Ghana Limited in 2017, as the Head, Information Technology, he worked with Adekal Venture Limited, a software developing firm as the country Manager and software developer. He also work with Wapic Insurance (Ghana) Limited as Head, Information Technology and Head, Information Technology at Prestige Assurance Plc. Nigeria. He has attended several Professional and Managerial courses and Seminars relevant to the Insurance Industry and Information communication Technology management both home and abroad
David is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He joined Equity Assurance, now Sunu Assurances, in 2009 as an officer and rose to this current position. Before joining the Internal Audit department, he worked in the Accounts department and the Retail department of Sunu Assurances, where he gained rich experience in Insurance underwriting, retail operations, finance, and investment, among others. David is highly result-oriented and always aims for excellence. He has over ten years of experience in the Insurance Industry. He also holds a BSc in Accounting from Datalink University College and an MSc in Business Consulting and Enterprise Risk Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
